Google Adsense and Infolinks

What is Google Adsense?
Google Adsense is an online advertising program run by Google Inc that allows website or contents owners (also known as the publisher) to serve rich media advertisement such as text, image, and video to the targeted audience.  The publishers can generate revenue when visitor clicked and viewed the advertisements on either a pay per click (CPC) or based on per impression basis. To date, this is the most successful online advertising model.

What is Infolinks?
Infolinks is focusing on the in-text advertising that allows website or contents owners to monetize their website, without disturbing the layout or structure of their sites.  The system will automatically select and bold some of the keywords from the contents, which then link to an advertisement.

Adsense and Infolinks the perfect match
I had done some research previously on the usage of both Adsense and Infolinks advertising network. As both the Adsense and Infolinks serving different purpose and objective, you can actually use both the Google Adsense and Infolinks advertising networks on all your websites to maximize your online revenue. I have been using both of these advertising networks on all my websites without any problem so far; hence it’s proven to be 100% safe.

The benefits by having both
If you are looking forward to maximize your online revenue or to make a quick bucks, then you should be have both the Google Adsense and Infolinks advertising networks up on all your online contents or web sites. Again, both the Adsense and Infolinks are serving different objectives and missions as mentioned earlier. Since both of them are the ‘perfect match’, why shouldn’t you add an additional channel to boost up your earning?

The drawbacks by having both

Most of the times the couple will be fighting when run into a problem. Having both the Adsense and Infolinks may affect you click-through rate (CTR) for Google Adsense. This situation arises as some of the clicks are being diverted to Infolinks.  Monitor your online revenue after implemented both the Adsense and Infolinks, choose to remove either one if needed. Finally, having too many advertisements may also irritate the readers. Do you planning and research before having both of them.
