Sunway Pyramid shopping mall was opened in July 1997 by Sunway Group of Companies after the Sunway Lagoon Water Park. Sunway Pyramid shopping mall is just located next to the water park in Bandar Sunway, Petaling Jaya (read my previous post for information on Sunway Water Park).
The unique building design which makes the mall outstanding is the Pyramid shape layout with a lion that guard the building in accordance to myth. The mall is the only mall in Malaysia that has an indoor ice skating arena.
Sunway Pyramid mall is now having more than 500 retail outlets from Boutique to choices of great F & B outlets, a cinema with multiple screens, bars, karaoke, bowling and many more. For tourists, the Sunway Pyramid mall is accessible via public transportation such as buses, rails and taxi. Always refer to the updated map for the route details which may change over the time.
